First Aid in Tactical/Hostile Environments (FAITHE)
The Tactical First Aid Course is aimed at anyone working or visiting potentially hostile environments e.g. Police Officers, Armed Police Officers, Combat Medics, Close Protection Officers & Bodyguards, Journalists, Door Supervisors, Security Personnel and Crowd Management Teams/Anti-Riot Officers to name just a few.
This 5 day course will be focused on your area of work, be it supervising doors in busy clubs & pubs or flying to a hostile theater of work, we will provide you with valuable skills should the worst happen.
With emphasis on The Hostile Environment, Kit Selection, a Secure Approach, Roles of theTeam First Aider & Assisting the Medic, Ballistic & Blast Injuries, Common Illnesses & Injuries, External & Internal Bleeding, Shock, Resuscitation and many more valuable topics we are confident that we can give you the advice, skills and confidence you require.

Experienced professional trainers with an active professional interest in Hostile Environment Medical Care & First Aid training, coming from a variety of working backgrounds and with an understanding of the specific needs of various environments. Our trainers are constantly updating their methods and materials keeping abreast of current best practice from around the world. Trainers typically have knowledge of your workplace and follow Health and Safety approved code of practice guidelines.

Revalidation
The First Aid at Work certificate is revalidated by a 12 hour Refresher course, provided that the FAW certificate is within its 3 year valid lifetime, otherwise the full (24 hour) course must be completed again.
