Outdoor/Remote & Expedition Courses
The outdoor environment nearly always means that the casualty has to be looked after for a longer timescale than is typical in a more urban setting. All of our outdoor First Aid courses look at how to manage the situation when the ambulance does not turn up in 10 minutes time and are appropriate if your work or leisure place is remote.
Our professional first aid trainers all have an active interest and commitment to the outdoor environment and fully understand the issues, dilemmas and judgments required when dealing with incidents in potentially hostile remote environments making the training highly relevant to your needs.

Emergency Action on Expedition - First Aid Care Days From Help
Our Expedition courses have evolved over time, each course is uniquely tailored to the client group and builds upon our experience gained over the years. Typically we have offered a course from our Emergency Expedition series or our Advanced Expedition series.
The Emergency series is for those with some First Aid experience and provides 2 days of hands on interactive training covering essential First Aid technique and incident management and then a further day with an environment specific module tailored to the group.
The Advanced series is for those who have completed First Aid courses in the past and have been active First Aiders for some time and develops a more proactive approach to incident management over 2 days and then a further day with an environment specific module. We encourage an ethos of becoming advanced at the basics rather than basic at advanced skills. Thus they are First Aid courses rather than expedition medic courses.
The courses are aimed at the expedition member who is traveling away from medical help and requires further First Aid insight rather then invasive medical training.
